Bettina WitteVeen is a photographer and conceptual artist whose work explores a range of subjects, from mythology to collective trauma. SGLA helped publicize her exhibitions in New York, including When We Were Soldiers, a photographic installation at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Hospital, a site chosen by WitteVeen as part of her artistic practice to use historically significant locations to underscore her works’ humanitarian message.
